Update to Our Customers about Coronavirus COVID-19

Dear Valued Customer,

With the ongoing rapid developments surrounding Coronavirus COVID-19, we wanted to let you know what Commerce Bank of Arizona is doing to respond to the impacts this virus is having in our communities, our state and the nation.

Our Commitment to Health and Safety

Commerce Bank of Arizona (“CBAZ”) is committed to the health and well-being of the people in our communities. As the virus is widespread in all of the communities we serve, we have decided to close our lobbies, but our bank is still open for business! We are just processing transactions in a different manner.  As federal, state and local health officials continue to issue updated guidance for businesses and individuals, we will continue to operate in a way that will best serve our communities. This means that our approach to handling your lending and deposit needs may look a little different, but we will continue to provide the level of service our customers have come to expect. We will work to keep customers informed if guidance from these agencies warrants additional changes to how we operate. Because we are an essential business, our operations will continue in the face of our statewide Stay-at-Home order issued by our Governor, effective the evening of March 31, 2020.

What We Are Doing

Our Pandemic Response Team continues to monitor updates regarding the spread of Coronavirus COVID-19 from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) as well as information from federal, state and local agencies. We want to be sure our actions line up with the most current recommendations.

In an effort to mitigate the risks associated with Coronavirus COVID-19, CBAZ has the following measures in place:

  • All branch lobbies will be closed until further notice.  Please utilize the drive thru or other convenient services (ATM’s, Night Drops, Online Banking, our Mobile App, or Telephone Banking (888) 800-7750) for all banking transactions.
  • Our secure Night Drop boxes are available to accept deposits. Simply drop your deposit into the box at your convenience. Our staff will confirm receipt.
  • CBAZ employees are being encouraged to practice good health hygiene consistent with advice published by the CDC.
  • Technology – CBAZ uses a variety of technologies designed to provide banking service continuity and maintain high service standards.  This includes Online Banking and Mobile App availability for our customers.  The technology we have in place also allows most employees the ability to work remotely from home in a secure manner in order to minimize the potential for community spread.
  • Travel – CBAZ’s Human Resources department has asked employees to carefully consider their travel plans and is actively monitoring employee travel.
  • Third Parties – CBAZ is in communication with important service providers who have detailed their efforts to continue to provide services in the face of Coronavirus COVID-19.
